J. Sagar Associates (JSA) advised SGS Tekniks Manufacturing Private Limited (SGS Tekniks) and its four promoters in a cash cum stock merger transaction whereby SGS Tekniks will merge with Syrma Technology Private Limited (Syrma). The deal was supported by private equity investment from GEF.
SGS Tekniks is in the business of electronic design and manufacturing services and Syrma is in the business of printed circuit boards, radio frequency identification tags, high performance magnets, transformers and a wide range of specialized components. The merger will strengthen SGS’s and Syrma’s design and manufacturing capabilities for global and domestic OEMs. Upon completion of the merger, the merged entity will have eight manufacturing facilities in India and three design centres in Chennai, Gurugram and Stuttgart, Germany.
JSA Team comprised Partners – Lalit Kumar and Bharati Joshi, Senior Associate – Amandeep Singh Virk and Associates – Kirti Singh and Aakanksha.
Partners – Divyam Agarwal and Hormuz Mehta, Senior Associate – Saumay Bhasin and Associate – Jash Shah will advise SGS Tekniks and Syrma in relation to the merger of SGS Tekniks and Syrma.
