JSA Advocates & Solicitors (JSA) advised Hexagon AB on the sale of its Design & Engineering business (“D&E Business”) to Cadence Design Systems, Inc. for an aggregate purchase price of approximately EUR 2.7 billion in cash and Cadence stock.
The D&E Business of Hexagon AB is a leading provider of mission-critical computer-aided engineering (CAE) software solutions and has, over time, successfully transitioned to a subscription-based business model.
Cadence Design Systems, Inc. is a market leader in artificial intelligence and computational software, pioneering the application of advanced technologies to accelerate innovation in engineering design, from silicon to complete systems.
The JSA team was led by Sidharrth Shankar, Lead Partner with support from Nandini Seth and Dhruv Malhotra, Partners; Eksha Narayan, Senior Associate and Aditya Sinha, Associate.
