J. Sagar Associates (JSA) advised and assisted Eoxis Asia Company Ltd. (“Eoxis”) with the sale of its 100% stake in Eoxis Renewable Energy India Private Limited (“Company”), to an Indian resident buyer. The sale will be completed in tranches.
The Company is engaged in the business of rendering consultancy services related to the power sector and was 100% owned and controlled by Eoxis.
JSA team comprised Partner – Pallavi Puri, Associate – Aishwarya Gupta, Partner – Kumarmangalam Vijay and Associate – Shiv Singhal.
Kumarmanglam is an equity partner of the firm and also heads the direct tax and regulatory practice at JSA. He has more than 25 years of experience in matters relating to direct taxation (including international taxation, transfer pricing, litigation, anti-avoidance laws, and M&A tax), accounting, and corporate laws including mergers and acquisition, joint ventures, foreign investments, market entry strategy, and corporate restructuring.
