JSA represents Grasim Industries Limited’s Birla Paints Division (“Grasim Industries”) before the CCI to secure a Section 26(1) investigation order against Asian Paints Limited (“Asian Paints”)
JSA acted as the sole and lead counsel to Grasim Industries before the Competition Commission of India (“CCI”) and successfully obtained a 26(1) order from the CCI on 1 July 2025, directing an investigation into Asian Paints for alleged abuse of dominance.
The team from JSA comprised Nisha Kaur Uberoi, Partner & Chair – Competition Practice, Principal Associate – Sarthak Pande; Senior Associate – Shivangi Chawla; and Associates – Keerthana Kesavan, Mehar Singh Dang and Sudhanshu Singh.
