JSA advised and assisted Oman India Joint Investment Fund (“OIJIF”) in its primary investment in Shop Kirana E Trading Private Limited (“ShopKirana”).
ShopKirana is a B2B grocery start-up which works directly with brands and gives them a boost on distribution with market intelligence. It currently works with 50,000 kirana stores in eight cities across four states —Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
OIJIF was a lead investor in the Series C fund raise by ShopKirana, which also saw participation from Info Edge and Sixth Sense Ventures. As part of the transaction, OIJIF will also purchase securities from existing investors.
