JSA Advocates & Solicitors (JSA) is acting as the sole advisor on competition aspects in relation to Schneider Electric’s proposed acquisition of the remaining 35% stake of SEIPL from Temasek.
Under the terms of the proposed acquisition, Schneider Electric will acquire the remaining 35% of SEIPL for an all-cash consideration of approximately EUR 5.5 billion. The proposed acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of required regulatory approvals from the Hon’ble Competition Commission of India.
