JSA acted as the legal advisor to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in connection with the successful award of the concession for Tolling, Operation and Transfer (TOT) of 6-lane Handia-Rajatlab Section of NH-19 (Bundle 9). The concession was awarded to National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) pursuant to an international competitive bidding process. The assignment involved drafting the bid documents (RFP and concession agreement), and advising on conduct of the bid process, award of the concession, execution of the concession agreement, and achievement of ‘Appointed Date’ under the concession agreement.
