J. Sagar Associates (JSA) advised IDFC Bank Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, IIFL Holdings Limited, Emkay Global Financial Services Limited and YES Securities (India) Limited as book running lead managers in relation to the proposed initial public offering of Senco Gold Limited (“Senco”). Senco has filed a draft red herring prospectus on August 21, 2018, with the Securities and Exchange Board of India for an initial public offering comprising of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to INR 6,000 million.
Senco is the largest organized jewellry retail player in the eastern region of India based on number of stores (74) – amongst east based as well as national players. Senco primarily sells gold and diamond jewellery and also sells jewellery made of silver, platinum and precious and semi-precious stones and metals through a network of 93 showrooms in 72 cities and towns.
