Kumar Kislay

Kumar Kislay specializes in Dispute Resolution.

He has gathered invaluable experience & expertise, inter alia, in handling various types of Litigations – Corporate & Commercial, Arbitrations, Writs under the Constitution of India.

He has represented various major corporates, banks and financial institutions in Litigations before various High Courts of the Country and the Supreme Court.

He has been involved in handling of Inolvency Proceedings, Winding UP and Mergers before NCLT and NCLAT. Kumar advises and represents clients in proceedings before quasi judicial bodies, tribunals and in trial matters as well.

Before joining JSA, he has worked with reputed firms of India and in chamber of Advocates at Supreme Court.

Soumitra Majumdar

Soumitra specializes in Banking & Finance.

He works closely with Indian & multinational banks, development financial institutions, commodity finance houses, non-banking finance companies as well as corporates.

Work profile includes structuring, due diligence, documentation and negotiations, in relation to, and execution & closing of:

  • bilateral / syndicated credit facilities to Indian borrowers, for capital expenditure, working capital, project financing and acquisition financing (on secured / unsecured / limited recourse basis);
  • guaranteed credit facilities to overseas subsidiaries of Indian entities, inter alia, for the purpose of overseas acquisitions and leveraged buy-outs;
  • cross border / domestic structured finance and trade finance transactions;
  • advisory on banking products;
  • creation and perfection of security interest on Indian assets;
  • debt and quasi-debt transactions compliant with Indian exchange control and banking regulations;
  • issuance of non-convertible bonds (on private placement basis);

Before joining JSA, he worked as an in house counsel in the corporate legal group of ICICI Bank Limited, Mumbai.

Aditi V Deshpande

Aditi specializes in Civil & Commercial Dispute Resolution. She has advised domestic and international clients in Civil & Commercial Dispute Resolution matters; and has represented several clients in arbitrations and matters relating to shareholders disputes and supply & sale contracts. She has also advised clients on General Corporate Commercial laws, Family and Trust laws. She has gathered invaluable experience & expertise, inter alia, in handling various types of Litigations – Corporate & Commercial, Arbitrations, Writs under the Constitution of India, transaction business – Mergers, Acquisitions & take-overs, Joint Ventures, PE Investments, legal audits & due diligence exercises and drafting of commercial agreements. Zain Pandit

Zain’s practice covers diverse areas of Corporate Commercial including Mergers & Acquisitions, Foreign Direct Investment, Business Transfers and General Corporate Advisory.

He has recently been involved in the development of the Education practice of JSA and has advised clients on a multitude of issues surrounding Education in India.

Zain’s scope of work includes conducting legal Due Diligence and drafting and vetting of various commercial agreements such as Business Transfer Agreements, IP Assignment Agreements and Lease Deeds.

Malini Raju

Malini specializes in Real Estate transactions, conducting Due Diligences and drafting allied documents including property development agreements and construction agreements.

She has advised and drafted documentation for some of the largest investments in the Real Estate sector in India in the last few years. She regularly provides advice on property related matters to various multinational companies.

Malini also has extensive experience in Banking & Finance related transactions including Real Estate financing and Security Creation. She advises on various labour legislations, and has been involved in drafting and reviewing various Employment contracts and has also been involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts relating to Retail & Franchising. Malini has also assisted in drafting and negotiating various transaction documents relating to investment by foreign entities in Real Estate sectors in India.

Malini has experience in conducting cases and in this regard has appeared before the Courts, Tribunal and the Consumer Forum. She has been involved in drafting of various pleadings, petitions and applications.

She has been practicing law for over six years, and has worked with Vivek Chandy & Associates, Bangalore, before it merged its practice with AZB & Partners. She then joined their new venture, M&C Partners, Bangalore, before joining JSA in 2009.

Bir Bahadur Singh Sachar

Bir’s practice covers diverse areas of Corporate Commercial law including Securities, Private Equity Investments, Business Transfer, Corporate Restructuring, Joint Venture & Takeovers and Foreign Investment. He has advised a number of Indian and foreign companies in matters relating to issue of securities including Initial Public Offerings, Rights Issues, Issue of FCCBs (Foreign Currency Convertible Bond) and Qualified Institutional Placements. Bir has attended several seminars and conferences including a Seminar on “Corporate Governance”; a Seminar on “Media and Law”; a Workshop on “Public Issues and Investor Protection”; and a Conference on “Emerging Trends of Corporate Law in India”.

Sonali Kapoor
Sonali practices in the areas of M&A and Private Equity.

She has advised both domestic and international clients, including listed entities, in transactions related to and including shares and business acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity investments. She has also advised clients on exchange control laws, securities laws, labor laws and general Corporate Commercial laws.

Before joining JSA, she was with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys, New Delhi and has also worked as an investment banker with UBS.

Pallavi Banerjee

Pallavi specialises in Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance and General Corporate Commercial matters.

In the areas of Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions, she advises investors in their investments in and acquisitions of Indian companies.

She is also involved in negotiating and reviewing a variety of commercial and financing contracts.

Among other things, she has experience in Security creation, Corporate Commercial and Finance related transactions including Private Equity.

Divyam Agarwal

Divyam’s core area of practice is Dispute Resolution.

He has extensive experience in handling matters in various courts & tribunals relating to Commercial & Civil Litigation, and has been engaged in drafting of pleadings, opinions and appearing before various courts and tribunals.

Divyam is involved in handling institutional as well as adhoc commercial Arbitrations. He has worked in National & International Commercial Arbitrations including those concerning building and construction law related legal issues.

He has completed his Masters in Law from London School of Economics with a specialization in Arbitration. He is qualified, as an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India.

 

D Divyanshu

Divyanshu’s practice focuses on transactional practice, be it a corporate commercial transaction of an existing entity or that of a start-up.

He has advised domestic and international clients in setting up of companies and LLPs in India and has been involved in conducting legal due diligences, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and transaction documents. He is often called on to support complex telecommunication industry transactions. Additionally, he also does regulatory work related to the Internet, payment systems and crypto-currencies.

Before joining JSA, he was in an in-house role with the English channel cluster of Star India Private Limited, where he primarily worked in the area of Media and Entertainment.

 

Apoorva Sundar

Apoorva practices in the areas of General Corporate Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Media and Entertainment.

She has assisted in handling various types of litigation including Corporate commercial, employment, and consumer disputes. She has a keen interest in the Sector of Media and Entertainment and in this regard, has assisted in developing a module and lecturing students on some aspects of the subject. She has assisted in drafting responses to the Law Commission of India Consultation Paper on Media Law working specifically on the aspects of ‘Paid News’.

Apoorva has also advised clients on various aspects of Employment Law, including employee benefits and sexual harassment policies to be included in the offer letters and handbooks of company. She has also assisted in due diligences, drafting of revenue sharing agreements, collaboration agreements and software licensing agreements.

She has also been extensively involved in many pro-bono ventures of the firm including providing assistance to the setup of India’s first paired kidney donation program. She has delivered presentations aimed at assisting parents with autistic children in estate management and succession planning also as a part of the pro-bono initiative.

K. Z Kuriyan

Kuriyan’s practice is focused primarily on Corporate Commercial matters in relation to Mergers & Acquisitions, Share Purchase and Asset Purchase Agreements and Due Diligence exercises on Target Companies.

He has been involved in, inter alia, conducting legal due diligences on the target companies, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and transaction documents such as share purchase and subscription agreements, shareholders agreements, construction and real estate related agreements.

Currently, he is assisting clients in the Real Estate and Construction & Engineering sectors to make investments in India and to conclude transactions with their Indian counterparts.

Some of the key assignments in these areas handled and being handled by Kuriyan amongst others, cover the following: –

  • Drafting, negotiating and finalizing the transaction documents and due diligence exercises on target companies.
  • Assisting clients in the Construction and Real Estate sectors to make investments in India and to conclude transactions with their Indian counterparts.
Abhishek Shukla

Abhishek practices in the areas of Banking & Finance and more particularly Project Finance.

 

He has advised domestic and international clients in Banking & Finance related transactions including Syndicated Lending (secured & unsecured), domestic & external Commercial Borrowings, Project Financing, Acquisition Financing and Debt Restructuring. He has also advised clients on exchange control laws, security creation and general Corporate Commercial laws.

 

Before joining JSA, he was with HSA Advocates, Delhi in their Banking & Finance team.

 

Akansha Mehta

Akansha focusses on Regulatory & Policy, with an emphasis on Competition Law Litigation.

She has been involved in diverse Competition matters including abuse of dominance cases, cartel investigations and merger filings.

Prior to joining JSA, Akansha has gained valuable experience in the area of Competition law through her previous internships.

Dina Wadia

Dina specialises in Banking & Finance, Investment Funds, Financial Services and Mergers & Cross Border Investments & Acquisitions. She has extensive experience in Banking & Finance related transactions including all manner of Debt Transactions (secured, limited recourse and syndicated), Project Finance, Acquisition Finance, Structured Finance, Real Estate Financing, Security Creation, Unlisted Debt and General Banking Products.

Dina also advises on the establishment of funds and investment by onshore & offshore funds and investment vehicles including general or sector specific Private Equity vehicles, Venture Capital funds, Mutual funds and other pooled investment vehicles. She has been involved with the domestic mutual fund industry since the opening of this sector to banks, offshore and private players in 1989 and with offshore depository receipt programmes of Indian issuers since inception of these transactions in India in 1993 / 1994.

In addition, she has extensive experience in Corporate Commercial and Finance related transactions including Private Equity & Capital Markets, Foreign Investment, Joint Ventures and Acquisitions across industry sectors.

She has been practicing law since 1982. Before joining JSA, she was for twenty one years with Little & Co, one of India’s premier and oldest law firms and she was a partner there for over ten years.

Astha Srivastava

Astha practices in the area of the Corporate Commercial and Mergers & Acquisition and Private Equity.
She has advised domestic and international clients on structuring transactions. She has also drafted and negotiated transaction documents in relation to investments, joint ventures and acquisitions.
Astha’s practice also extends to General Corporate Commercial and advisory work including legal opinions on a variety of issues of corporate and commercial laws.

Abhishek Kumar Singh

Abhishek is a member of the Corporate Commercial practice and his practice areas includes Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Joint Ventures, foreign direct investments in India and overseas direct investment by Indian companies. He advises clients on diverse issues in relation to company law, structured investments, legal due diligence, exchange control regulations, and is regularly engaged in drafting & negotiation of transactional documents & commercial contracts. Before joining JSA, Abhishek was working with Aditya Birla Group and handled cross border Mergers & Acquisition, corporate restructuring corporate litigations and wide variety of commercial agreements in relation to industries such as Chemicals, Carbon Black, Fertilizers and Pulp & Fiber.

Arjun K. Perikal

Arjun specializes in Mergers & Acquisition, General Corporate Commercial and Dispute Resolution.

He has extensive experience in M&A related transactions including all manners of structuring and scheme of arrangements; drafting contracts for web applications, e-commerce, hospital management, etc.; dispute resolution through arbitration & mediation; corporate litigation in relation to oppression & mismanagement and liquidation. He has appeared and argued before various judicial forums in the writ, original and appellate jurisdictions.

Arjun also advises on incorporation of entities and general corporate secretarial compliance and corporate contracts. In addition, he has extensive experience in advising clients on real estate acquisition, development and leasing.

He has been practicing law for over thirteen years. He has worked with AZB & Partners, Bangalore and with M&C Partners, Bangalore, before joining JSA in July 2009.

Radhika Gupta

Radhika specializes in advising and assisting Telecom companies and other service providers in regulatory, licensing and IT matters with a focus on regulatory compliances.

She has assisted in Litigation matters for clients in Telecom, Power, and Oil & Gas sectors.

In addition, she has experience in advising government and civic authorities like the DDA, NDMC and also the Union of India in various civil disputes before the High Court of Delhi.

She started as a Law Trainee with a Senior Advocate in TDSAT and soon after clearing the AIBE, she worked as a Law Researcher in the High Court of Delhi. Before joining JSA, she practiced on the civil side in the High Court of Delhi.

Divyaanshi Chandra

Divyaanshi specializes in General Corporate Commercial; Mergers & Acquisition; Private Equity; and Corporate Compliance, Anti-Corruption & Investigation.

She has a rich transactional experience in investments by onshore & offshore entities in sectors such as – Infrastructure, Media, Real Estate, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Services.

She has advised multi-national companies in cross-border transactions; Joint Ventures; Companies Act; Foreign Exchange Management Act (including the FDI Policy and SEBI Act); setting up of business operations in India; and outbound investments from India.

Her scope of work has included conducting legal due
diligences, drafting, vetting & negotiating structuring issues, and rendering strategic advice.
Additionally, she also advises clients on compliance with relevant anti-corruption laws; drafting & implementation of anti-corruption policies and code of ethical conduct; designing and conducting training programs / workshops on corporate governance; third party due diligence; and corporate frauds.

Krishna Tangirala

Krishna’s core area of practice is Dispute Resolution including Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution in diverse areas of Corporate & Commercial, Engineering & Construction and Civil disputes before Courts and Arbitral Tribunals.

He has handled matters in the Supreme Court of India, various High Court(s), District Courts, National Company Law Tribunals and Consumer Redressal Forums.

Krishna is involved in handling high stake domestic and International Arbitrations (ad hoc and institutional) involving disputes arising out of various commercial contracts.

Dheeraj Nair

Dheeraj’s core area of practice is Dispute Resolution, Mediation & Negotiations.

He is qualified, as an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India. Dheeraj has handled multifarious and complex Litigations & Arbitrations for numerous Multi-nationals as well as Domestic clients, mediated disputes and negotiated several settlements.

His core areas of practice are two-fold viz.

  • Corporate & Commercial disputes primarily involving Joint Ventures and investment related disputes in Courts as well as Arbitrations;
  • Advising & acting for companies in the realm of Administrative & Constitutional law.

He has extensive experience of advising and handling litigations or arbitrations for Companies involved in manufacturing, processing, trading & import of Food products, Drugs & Pharma, Hospitality & Leisure, Airline & Travels, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Private Ports and Airport Operator, Construction and Engineering, Securities, Retail, Medical Equipment, Information Technology and Automobiles. Prior to joining JSA, Dheeraj used to extensively appear before the Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) as well as Monopolistic & Restrictive Trade Practice’s commission (MRTPC).

He now divides his time between practicing at the Supreme Court & High Court/s as well as conducting International & Domestic Arbitrations and mediations. He has also had the opportunity and privilege of appearing in more than fifteen High Courts of India, including their respective Benches for various clients having a pan-India presence.

Dheeraj is also inclined towards academics, and has conducted Seminar Courses and lecture series at Academic Institutions. He is regularly invited by various Law Colleges for judging their Moot Court and other related competitions.

Raj Ramachandran

Saeeda Bandukwala

Tony Verghese

Tony’s practice largely focuses on Corporate Commercial transactions in various industrial sectors. He handles complex commercial contractual reviews, due diligence exercises, Mergers & Acquisitions, Foreign investment related matters, Real Estate, Employment law matters and multifaceted commercial negotiations on behalf of various clients.

His experience in the Telecom and Information Technology (IT) sector involves providing regulatory advice, on telecom service licensing in India, setting up Call Centre operations and obtaining relevant licenses, software vendor contracts, service level agreements, technology licensing agreements, advice on setting up STPI’s (Software Technology Parks of India) and SEZ’s (Special Economic Zone) and general legal issues involving Telecom and IT companies.

Tony also regularly advises overseas companies in setting up business operations in India, and assists them in setting up subsidiaries / branches / liaison office, Real Estate acquisition by way of lease or leave and license, obtaining various statutory registrations (such as Sales Tax, VAT {Value Added Tax}, Shops & Establishments, Income Tax), and conducting corporate compliance and legal audits.

Tirthankar Datta

Tirthankar specialises in Banking & Finance, Financial Services, Mergers & Acquisitions and Cross Border Investments. He has extensive experience in debt transactions including all manner of finance related transactions (secured, limited recourse and syndicated), Project Finance, Acquisition Finance, Structured Finance, Real Estate Financing, security creation, Listed and Unlisted Corporate Bonds / Non-Convertible Debentures (Private Placement) and other General Banking Products.

 

He regularly advises clients on Indian law and regulatory issues relating to debt financing transactions and acquisitions including on issues concerning exchange control regulations, securities regulations and general corporate laws.

 

In addition, he has extensive experience in real estate financing including both construction finance as well as lease rental discounting facilities, in the residential, commercial and retail sectors as well as lending to financial institutions (such as non-banking finance companies), leverage finance and acquisition finance transactions.

 

He has been practicing law since 2008. Before joining JSA, he worked for eight years with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (earlier Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co., another law firm in India.

Farhad Sorabjee

Farhad acts and appears in diverse complex multi-jurisdictional national and international commercial arbitrations, and disputes involving tortious and contractual aspects of civil law. He acts and advises investors in Investor-State bilateral treaty arbitrations, and was the lead advisor in simultaneous litigation & arbitration proceedings in Sri Lanka and the U.K. for a global port operator, for which the Firm was awarded the ‘Asian Counsel-Deal of the Year’, for Dispute Resolution.

Farhad has advised & acted in numerous proceedings involving administrative law and constitutional challenges relating, amongst others, to excise duties and tariffs, service taxes and import & export laws. He has appeared in several landmark decisions of the Supreme Court of India on issues such as the liability to pay customs duty on the import of intellectual property and the applicability of excise duty provisions to immovable property. He co-chairs the firm’s dispute resolution practice.

Farhad has advised & appeared in numerous multi-pronged international trade defence investigations and proceedings involving anti-dumping and safeguard duties.

He has advised international and Indian companies on India’s erstwhile monopolistic, restrictive & unfair trade practices law and heads the firm’s Competition Law practice in Mumbai. Farhad acted in India’s first cartel activity investigation before the new Competition Commission of India and also the first substantive abuse of dominance proceeding before the commission. He advises extensively on merger control issues and filings in both global and Indian acquisitions and mergers, as well as on internal Competition Law corporate compliance.

Farhad has advised and assisted State Governments in the formulation and drafting of legislation pertaining to infrastructure development funding and fiscal accountability.

Ritika Vaswani

Ritika’s practice focuses on Corporate Commercial and Real Estate. She specializes in Real Estate transactions, conducting due diligences and drafting allied documents including property development agreements and construction agreements. Ritika also works in the areas of Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Commercial. She has advised and drafted documentation for some of the largest investments in the Indian Real Estate sector over the past few years. She regularly provides advice on property related matters to various multinational companies. Ritika has worked extensively in the Hospitality, Healthcare, Biotechnology, Manufacturing, Software and Entertainment industries, advising in relation to Real Estate transactions.

Prashaanth Balasubramaniam

Prashaanth specializes in Dispute Resolution including Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

He has worked extensively in diverse areas of Corporate & Commercial, Engineering & Construction, and Civil disputes before Courts, Quasi-Judicial Authorities and Arbitral Tribunals. He has also appeared before the National Green Tribunal and the Magistrate Courts.

He has considerable experience in handling matters in the High Court of Madras, Chennai City Civil Courts, Company Law Board and Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, National Green Tribunal, Consumer Redressal Fora, Magistrate Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals and Arbitral Tribunals.

Before joining JSA, he was with Mr.N.L.Rajah, Advocate Madras High Court from December 2014 till January 2016.

Manish Kumar Jha

Manish has handled and argued a wide spectrum of contentious Civil, Commercial & Criminal Litigation and has also appeared alongside before the Supreme Court of India and High Courts of Delhi, Ahmedabad & Shimla. He has appeared before BIFR (Bureau of Industrial & Financial Reconstruction), AAIFR(Appellate Authority for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction), DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal), DRAT (Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, CLB (Company Law Board), TDSAT(Telecom Dispute Settlement & Appellate Tribunal), District Courts and various other Tribunals.

Manish has drafted SLPs (Special Leave Petition) and various Petitions including appeals in the Supreme Court & High Court of Delhi for various clients.

Manish has advised on a range of Commercial contracts and drafted & negotiated numerous agreements including Distributorship, Commission Agency, Service Provider, Non-Disclosure, Consulting Services and   Retainer, Clearing and Forwarding, Job Work, Lease & License, Supply Purchase, and Construction.

Prior to joining the Firm, Manish has worked in the Chamber of Mr. Manmohan, Sr. Advocate (who is presently a Judge of the High Court of Delhi)

Lakshmi Ramachandran

Lakshmi is a part of the firm’s Corporate Practice and she focuses on employment, labour and industrial laws and related issues, including data protection, privacy and compliance investigation.

 

Lakshmi has been advising clients on all aspects of employment laws, including compliances, benefits, policies, termination, as well as confidentiality and non-compete obligations. She assists clients in conducting disciplinary enquiries, including those related to corruption, anti-trust and sexual harassment complaints. She regularly drafts all employment related documents including employment contracts, employee handbooks and related policies.

 

She also assists in major transactions involving asset and business transfers and share acquisitions, including employee transfer, integration and other closing and post-closing activities related to such transactions.

 

Before joining JSA, Lakshmi was a litigator and has over four years of experience in civil and corporate litigation, having practiced in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India.

Amar Gupta

Amar has extensive experience in Litigation of Civil nature. In the recent past, he advised & represented key clients and has conducted high profile Litigations before the Supreme Court of India and High Courts of various States.

He has also conducted Arbitrations and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), both on behalf of claimants and respondents. Amar has also appeared in and conducted proceedings before various special tribunals including Company Law Board, Securities Tribunal, Consumer Courts and Telecom Regulatory Authority.

Amar has undertaken significant Corporate Commercial Litigations, Arbitrations and ADR in diverse areas, including Disputes arising from Joint Venture Agreement & Franchise Agreement – both International and Domestic; Infrastructure projects related to Telecom, Oil & Gas, Power; Disputes arising from Shareholders’ Agreement, Share Purchase Agreements; Corporate laws including Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, take-over’s & Joint Ventures; trade related issues including monopolies & restrictive trade practices and franchise; Banking & Finance transactions; Commercial transactions, letter of credit & bank guarantees; issues relating to Indirect Taxes against revenue authorities; Tort actions; Intellectual Property rights; Criminal proceedings arising from Commercial transactions.

She has advised multi-national companies in cross-border transactions; Joint Ventures; Companies Act; Foreign Exchange Management Act (including the FDI Policy and SEBI Act); setting up of business operations in India; and outbound investments from India.

 

Her scope of work has included conducting legal due
diligences, drafting, vetting and negotiating structuring issues and rendering strategic advice.

Additionally, she also advises clients on compliance with relevant anti-corruption laws; drafting and implementation of anti-corruption policies and code of ethical conduct; designing and conducting training programs/workshops on corporate governance; third party due diligence; and corporate frauds.

Tabish Samdani

Tabish’s core areas of practice are Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and General Corporate Commercial Laws. He has handled multifarious and complex Litigations and negotiated several settlements.   He has also advised and has extensive experience on the complex aspects of The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.   Tabish has presented various research papers in various national and international conferences and has publications in law journals.   In addition, he has extensive experience in Corporate Commercial matters and all related aspects of commercial contracts, including drafting and assisting in negotiating of leave and license agreements, non-disclosure agreement, Shareholders agreement, Share Purchase Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding etc.  

K. Mohan Kumar

Mohan is currently part of the Real Estate and Litigation practice of the Firm & has handled several key assignments in the said areas. He has the experience in handling Civil & Criminal cases before various courts and tribunals. Mohan has advised and assisted companies in registration and stamp duty aspects relating to their realty projects & property development matters, including documentation, title due diligence and liaisoning with all governmental and regulatory authorities. He has a sound knowledge on regulatory laws governing the aspects of licenses and approvals in development of SEZ’s (Special Economic Zones) & Integrated Townships. Apart from Real Estate and Litigation, Mohan has an extensive experience in preparing memos & drafting of Development and Joint Venture Agreements.

Varghese Thomas

Varghese has extensive experience in commercial Dispute Resolution matters, having advised and represented several clients in arbitrations and court cases relating to shareholder disputes, supply and sale contracts and engineering contracts.

He regularly advises clients on Indian law issues concerning General Corporate laws, Exchange Control Regulations, and Family and Trust laws.

In addition, he has extensive experience in the Port Sector having advised several multinational port operators in setting up operations, including negotiating license agreements.
