In 1997, he headed the team who successfully launched MTNL’s first GDR (Global Depositary Receipt) issue.
For over twelve years in JSA now, he has been advising & assisting Telcos and Broadcasting companies in regulatory, licensing, spectrum and FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) matters and other corporates in Government and FIPB (Foreign Investment Promotion Board) approvals.
Sidharth’s practice covers diverse areas of Corporate Commercial Litigation, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Sidharth has considerable experience in Arbitrations relating to Engineering & Construction contracts. Sidharth also has significant exposure to International Arbitrations (ICC & LCIA) involving Disputes arising from Joint Venture Agreements, Shareholder’s Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements and various other commercial contracts.
Prior to joining the Firm, Sidharth worked as the Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant with a judge of the Supreme Court of India.
Sahil specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions, business transfers, business takeovers, domestic & cross border investments, joint ventures and corporate restructuring.
He has extensive experience in Banking & Finance related transactions including Debt Transactions (secured and unsecured), Real Estate Financing, Security creation, Listed and Unlisted Debt.
Sahil also advises on the establishment of funds and investment by onshore & offshore funds and investment vehicles including general or sector specific Private Equity vehicles, Venture Capital funds and other pooled investment vehicles.
He advises clients across industry sectors including Financial Services, Healthcare and Real Estate.
Sahil has an extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients on various facets of law including General Corporate Commercial Laws and exchange control laws. Sahil has been actively involved in filing of applications for approvals and reporting with the Reserve Bank of India and the Foreign Investment Promotion Board, and has closely dealt with these authorities.
He has been practicing law since 2004. Before joining JSA, he was for a little over 7 years with Nishith Desai Associates, one of India’s premier law firms and he was a Senior Associate there.
Abhijit specializes in Corporate Commercial & Dispute Resolution. He focuses on Mergers & Acquisitions, and also attends to matters before various Courts & Tribunals including the High Court, the District Courts, the Debt Recovery Tribunal, and the Consumer Fora.
He was with M&C Partners, Bangalore for one year before joining JSA in July 2009.
Ronak’s practice at the Firm spans across areas such as Banking & Finance, Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions and General Corporate Commercial matters.
He has advised clients on debt transactions including syndicated lending (secured & unsecured), domestic and external commercial borrowings, and security creation.
In the areas of Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions, he advises funds and investors on corporate law issues, acquisitions (private/public companies, inbound/outbound transactions) and foreign investment in India.
He is also involved in negotiating and reviewing a variety of commercial and financing contracts.
