Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has initiated a preliminary inquiry into preferential issues proposals against LIC Housing Finance and Barbecue Nation. The SEBI has asked exchanges to examine preferential allotment issues. Vikram Raghani shares his view on the development.
