JSA advised Equity International, a US based private equity fund, in relation to the pre-IPO sale of shares of SAMHI Hotels Limited (SAMHI), by (a) Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund- Series III, Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund- Series IIIA and Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund- Series IIIB (collectively Nuvama); (b) TIMF Holdings and (c) Madhuri Madhusudan Kela.
As part of the pre-IPO funding round, Equity International partially exited from its investment in SAMHI by a sale of its equity shares held in SAMHI immediately prior to the IPO of SAMHI which successfully listed on September 22, 2023.
SAMHI is a branded hotel ownership and asset management platform in India with a portfolio of 3,839 keys across 25 operating hotels in 12 of India’s key urban consumption centers, as of March 31, 2023.
