JSA advised ICICI Securities Limited in relation to the rights issue of Capri Global Capital Limited (“CGCL” or the “Issuer”). CGCL has filed a letter of offer with the Securities and Exchange Board of India on February 13, 2023, for an issue of equity shares on a rights basis to the eligible equity shareholders aggregating up to ₹14,400 million.
CGCL is one of the leading NBFC – Investment and Credit Company and a Systemically Important Non-Deposit Taking NBFC firms in India. CGCL primarily caters to micro, small and medium enterprise, self-employed non-professionals and first-time borrowers that lack access to formal credit channels, while contributing to India’s financial inclusion agenda and “Housing for All by 2022” mission under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
