J. Sagar Associates (JSA) advised ICICI Securities Limited, J. P. Morgan India Private Limited, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, Axis Capital Limited and Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited in relation to the qualified institutional placement of INR 20,000 million by Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited (“STFC”).
STFC is one of the largest commercial vehicle financiers and is a deposit-taking NBFC registered with the Reserve Bank of India under Section 45IA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. STFC is a part of the Shriram group of companies, which has a presence in various aspects of financial services in India, including commercial vehicle financing, consumer finance, life and general insurance and stock broking.
