The Supreme Court has recently held that that the Enforcement Directorate under the PMLA Act would have to provide grounds of the arrest in writing while taking the person to custody. Further the Supreme Court held that that the Enforcement Directorate should not engage in vindictive actions and instead conduct its investigations within the ambit of law with fairness and the highest level of integrity.
