Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products Scheme (“RoDTEP Scheme”) introduced with effect from January 1, 2021

The RoDTEP Scheme has been designed in accordance with the World Trade Organisation norms to replace the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme and the Rebate of State and Central Levies and Taxes Scheme. It aims to give impetus to exporters by allowing them reimbursement of duties/taxes/ levies at the central, state and local level, which are not exempted or refunded under any other scheme at present.
