JSA advised and represented Wonderchef Home Appliances Private Limited (“Wonderchef”) in its Series C round funding via a combination of primary and secondary transactions.
The funding series was led by Sixth Sense Ventures (“Sixth Sense”) and the Godrej family office and saw participation from the Malpani group and certain other renowned HNIs.
Wonderchef is a premium kitchenware brand co-founded by Sanjeev Kapoor, a renowned chef and Ravi Saxena. It offers over 600 products, including a range of premium non-stick cookware, nutriblend mixers, stainless steel pans, pressure cookers, and other appliances such as mixer-grinders, cooktops, chimneys, kitchen tools, flasks and bakeware. It retails its products through 25 exclusive outlets, over 10,000 multi-brand outlets and a vast network of direct salespersons.
Deal Value: INR 150 crores/ US$ 20 million
