Tavishi is part of the firm’s Corporate team. Her practice area includes corporate law, company laws, foreign investments, transaction and regulatory advisory.
She has advised domestic and foreign clients across various sectors including real estate, banking & finance, insurance and healthcare on spectrum of legal issues under FEMA, company laws, RBI policies, insurance law and SEBI regulations.
She has experience in drafting various types of agreements including transactional documents in relation to private equity, mergers & acquisitions, conducting and preparing due diligence reports. She is also experienced in vetting and negotiating commercial agreements. She has also been involved in advising and preparing documents for incorporating a company and alternative investment funds.
In addition, she also has experience of handling contentious contracts, dispute resolution and criminal matters including white collar crimes. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, District Courts of Delhi and Bombay High Court.
Prior to joining JSA, she has worked for several Indian law firms including AZB & Partners and Kochhar & Co.
