Ruchita Modi specializes in the field of indirect taxes. Ruchita has around 9 years of experience in advising clients on various matters under Value Added Tax Laws, Service Tax, Excise duty, Customs Law, Goods and Services Tax and Foreign Trade Policy.
She has advised both Indian as well as multi-national companies in varied sectors such as manufacturing, e-commerce, oil and gas, banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals, IT, construction and engineering, etc.
Ruchita has experience in advisory, compliance and litigation assistance on various indirect tax laws. In her previous stints she has been part of various GST implementation and transition assignments, due diligences, strategizing new business models, etc. for large corporates.
She has worked on several litigation matters and assisted senior counsel for appearing before various forums.
Ruchita is a Chartered Accountant, and currently pursuing her L.L.B. Prior to joining JSA, she has worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited as an Assistant Manager.
