Purna’s key focus area is corporate commercial as well as dispute resolution. He has advised and assisted multinational corporations and enterprises in large-scale cross-border transactions.
His practice areas include verification of corporate and regulatory compliances; advising corporates in the acquisition of vast tracts of immovable properties for industrial and commercial purposes and representing before government authorities in matters connected with land usage conversion as well as carrying out mutations in the property records. Purna has worked with various governmental authorities and has assisted clients in meeting various requirements imposed by such authorities.
Purna has extensive experience in advising clients on real estate acquisitions rendering assistance from identification of suitable properties, carrying out due diligence and title search exercises to negotiating on behalf of clients, drafting of transactional documents, execution, registration and help in the completion of the transaction and in fulfilling all statutory and regulatory compliances.
He has advised international financial majors on external commercial borrowings including foreign direct investments. Purna has also advised several national and multinational companies relating to various aspects of joint venture agreements, real estate, employment and commercial contract issues as well as on immigration laws.
Purna has been practicing Law since 1994. Before joining JSA in 2006, he was part of a premier litigation office at Chittoor (A.P) for about twelve years and has substantial experience in carrying out title diligences, handling civil, criminal and corporate litigations, apart from handling arbitration and constitutional matters.
