Priyakshi Bhatnagar

Priyakshi’s focus area is regulatory litigation and dispute resolution in Energy (Power and Natural Resources) and Aviation sector. Within the Energy sector, she has been involved in litigation and legal opinions pertaining to issues such as Change in Law, Force Majeure, Renewable Energy Certificates and its Trading, Renewable Power Purchase Obligations, issues arising out of generation, distribution and transmission of Electricity such as capacity utilization, tariff, commissioning etc. Under Aviation sector, she has advised clients regarding necessary compliances and procedures for developing / operating airlines, heliports, etc.

Her practice involves representing the clients before various fora being Supreme Court of India, different High Courts, Electricity Commissions (Central/State), Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, sector specific Bodies/Authorities, Arbitral Tribunals etc.

She has been practicing law since 2017. Before joining JSA, she was working with Wadia Ghandy & Co. (Delhi) for four years where she advised domestic and international clients regarding various civil and commercial disputes inter alia under Indian Contract Act 1872, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code 2016, Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996, Copyright Act 1957, Companies Act 2013 etc. before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble NCLT & Hon’ble NCLAT at New Delhi, Hon’ble NCDRC as well as Hon’ble District Courts.
