Parvathy Manoj

Parvathy focuses on corporate commercial, regulatory and policy matters in various sectors.

She regularly advises on various areas of Information Technology Law including data protection, data transfer, intermediary liabilities, government access requests, data retention and e-commerce issues. She also provides regulatory advice on telecom and related laws involving telecom companies or other service providers. She has counselled clients on how to report data breaches to Indian regulators and assist clients to file data breach reporting documentations with regulators.

She further advises clients on employment laws including issues relating to termination, discrimination and equal opportunity at work, diversity & inclusion and vaccination requirements in workplace. She also assists in drafting internal policies, employment contracts, employee handbooks and related documentation. She also regularly advises on trademark and copyright infringement matters.

She has assisted clients in negotiating and documenting commercial contracts including service agreements, franchising agreements and confidentiality agreements.

Prior to joining JSA, Parvathy was a litigator and has experience in commercial litigation and criminal litigation, having practiced before the High Court of Kerala.
