Nagarjun is an Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and is also enrolled with the Bar Counsel of India. He is a certified Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) professional as recognized by the ICSI. He is an Associate with JSA and is skilled in Company Compliances and Secretarial matters, Legal Research, Legal Advice, Corporate and Foreign Exchange Laws.

He has been practicing corporate law since 2012. Prior to joining JSA in 2018, he was previously with the Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Bengaluru.

He regularly advises on all aspects of entity set up and funds set up and on filing various compounding and adjudication matters before the Reserve Bank of India and Ministry of Corporate Affairs involving private & public companies.

He excels in complex interpretation, corporate governance, corporate law matters, including drafting policies on Corporate Social Responsibility, employees’ stock option plans, setting up of branch offices and liaison offices and corporate compliances.

For the period from 2018 to 2022 Nagarjun has contributed to the India section of the ‘Doing Business Report’ published by the World Bank Group.

  • Appeared before the Reserve Bank of India in relation to long pending compounding matter.
  • Appeared before the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in relation to various compounding and adjudication matters involving private and public companies.
  • Advised and assisted on matters involving shifting of registered office from one state to another in India by obtaining an Ex-party order which involved liaising with Regional Director and Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
  • Assisted with the corporate compliance mandate of the transaction involving DXC Technology on the India leg of the sale of its healthcare provider software business to the Dedalus Group.
