Manvinder’s practice covers diverse areas of corporate commercial law including foreign investment, joint ventures, private equity and matters involving asset purchase / business transfer. He has advised a number of Indian and foreign companies in structuring the acquisition or investment and has rendered advice on corporate restructuring. Manvinder has also assisted various foreign companies in making application for setting up Indian entities, and making applications to RBI and various sector regulators such as IRDA and DoT etc. for setting up branch and seeking various clarifications. Manvinder has also drafted and negotiated various corporate commercial agreements including technology license agreements, employment and non-compete agreements, management fee agreements, escrow agreements, vendor / procurement contracts, distribution and sale agreements, real estate-conveyance and development agreements, lease deeds, license agreements, hotel management agreements, franchise agreements, consultancy and various service agreements.
He also assisted companies in developing and maintaining compliance systems and conducted compliance audits. He had been advising various companies in relation to compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, listing regulations and also helped in implementing corporate governance norms
