Jatin specialises in the areas of corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and foreign investments. In addition, he has extensive experience in actuarial valuations in pension sector and secretarial practices.

Jatin has over 5 years of post-qualification experience (including as a company secretary). Before joining JSA, he has worked at KT advisors LLP and Bharti Airtel Limited. His last assignment was with Link Legal, Delhi.

Some of the key assignments in these areas handled and being handled by Jatin amongst others, cover the following:-

  • Advised Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited in forming a joint venture company with a Ircon International Limited – a Miniratna Category I PSU pursuant to a request for proposal under Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme Phase-II (Government Producer Scheme). This transaction involved detailed analysis CPSU guidelines, opinions on various aspect of Companies Act, 2013, GATT 1994 Agreement, Domestic Consumption Requirement guidelines.
  • Advised one of the largest aviation company in India in its group restructuring involving transfer of its cargo business to its subsidiary company and debt cum lease payments restructuring with the lessors of the aircraft.
  • Advised a prominent Fusion Micro Finance Private Limited in raising of funds through equity investment of $75 million by Warburg Pincus.
  • Advised a leading tyre manufacturing company in acquisition of 50% stake in a mobility solution start up company.
  • Advised a renowned diagnostic center in Allahabad in setting up of an oncology hospital through joint venture arrangement with a leading oncology hospital chain in India.
  • Assisted in merger of Texmaco Hitech Private Limited and Bright Power Projects (India) Private Limited into Texmaco Rail Engineering Limited pursuant to provisions of Section 230 to Section 232 of the Companies Act, 2013.
  • Advised a prominent hotel chain on scheme of arrangement involving demerger of an undertaking, issue of bonus shares, conversion of private company into public listed company, reduction of share capital and mirroring of shareholding of resulting company with the shareholding of demerged company.
