ABOUT

Deboshree specialises in Banking & Finance. She has experience in Banking & Finance related transactions including all manner of debt transactions (secured, limited recourse and syndicated), project finance, security creation, unlisted debt and general banking products.

She has been practicing law since 2019. Prior to joining JSA in 2022, she has worked with Khaitan & Co., Mumbai, as an associate with their banking and finance practice.

Deboshree has completed her B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur.

EXPERIENCE

Advising the Committee of creditors in the CIRP of Go Airlines (India) Limited.
Advised Aseem Infrastructure Finance Limited and Aditya Birla Finance Limited in relation to financings extended to IRB InvIT Fund for refinancing / financing the debt of its present and future project SPVs in the road sector.
Advised the State Bank of India in relation to three INR loan facilities availed by 3 subsidiaries of Adani Enterprises Limited, for the development of access controlled six lane (expandable to eight lane) greenfield project ‘Ganga Expressway’ in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Advised DBS Bank India Limited in relation to multiple facilities extended to various Indian subsidiaries of one of Asia’s leading renewable energy company, for their respective projects.
Advised DBS Bank India Limited in relation to a structured term loan facility availed by Hyderabad Educational Academy Private Limited, a subsidiary of GIIS Education Services Private Limited, for acquisition of three operating school assets located in Hyderabad, India.
Advised DBS Bank India Limited in relation to term loan facility availed by GIIS Learning Private Limited, a subsidiary of Global Indian International Schools, Singapore, for acquisition of two schools located in Sarjapur and Whitefield, in Bangalore, India, pursuant to a business transfer agreement with the selling group.
Advised Barclays Bank Plc. in relation to the working capital facilities availed by Suzlon Energy Limited for meeting the working capital requirements of its energy projects.
Advised FMO in several debt investments, in Sahyadri Farmers Producer Co. Ltd., and Usher Eco Power Ltd.
Advised AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH and Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft in debt investments in JPFL Films Private Limited.
Advised IndusInd Bank Limited in relation to multiple facilities extended to Solapur Yedeshi Tollway Limited and Yedeshi Aurangabad Tollway Limited, the wholly owned SPVs of IRB Infrastructure Trust, in relation to their respective toll projects.
