Alisha Chawla

Alisha has extensive experience in handling day-to-day secretarial compliance of the companies incorporated in India particularly having foreign investments, downstream investments, etc. She has hands on experience in Company Law compliances along with the FEMA compliances. She has been involved in providing legal opinions and advice to the clients on the corporate laws and FEMA.

Alisha has been involved in Incorporations, Mergers and Acquisitions, Restructuring of companies and liquidation under IBC. She has exposure in handling secretarial compliance of Joint Venture companies, foreign subsidiaries, and domestic companies. She has been involved in conducting due diligence and advising clients on correctional measures and/or compounding.

Alisha has an in-depth knowledge and experience in Preferential and Rights issue to institutional investors, Venture Capitalists, companies as well as individual investors.

In addition, she has done extensive research and advised the clients on significant beneficial ownership provisions, corporate social responsibility amendments, etc.

She has over 9 years of experience and before joining JSA, she has worked for law firms like Trilegal and Archer & Angel.
