Manvinder’s practice covers diverse areas of Corporate Commercial law including Foreign Investment, Joint Ventures, Private Equity and matters involving asset purchase / business transfer. He has advised a number of Indian and foreign companies in structuring the acquisition or investment and has rendered advice on corporate restructuring. Manvinder has also worked on matters involving FCCB (Foreign Currency Convertible Bond) issues and IPO (Initial Public Offering).
Manvinder has worked extensively in the Oil & Gas and Telecom sectors. In the Oil & Gas sector, Manvinder has been involved in negotiations and drafting of Farm out Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Crude Off take and Sales Agreements, and Gas Sales Agreements. He had advised upstream companies on the rights and obligations under PSC (Production Sharing Contract), and has represented and promoted the interest of upstream companies before Government authorities’ such as DGH (Directorate General of Hydrocarbons) and Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. He has extensively worked in the area of Project Finance in relation to the Oil & Gas sector.
Prior to joining the Firm, Manvinder has worked with some leading law firms including Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co. and Luthra & Luthra Law Offices. He has also worked as a Company Secretary and Manager-Legal of an upstream Oil & Gas company.
