Shreya works primarily in the Labour and Employment practice of the firm and has advised domestic and international clients on matters relating to employment laws and regulatory compliances in India. She has also worked in matters relating to FCRA, food laws and legal metrology.
In the domain of labour and employment, she regularly assists in matters dealing with provident fund, employees’ state insurance, closure of factory, sexual harassment at workplace, contract labour engagement, payment of bonus, employment agreements, termination of employment, industrial disputes, amongst others. She also assists clients in formulating various workplace policies such as POSH and equal opportunities. She has worked extensively on employment-related issues arising out of the lockdown imposed due to the COVID-19 outbreak to help clients navigate through the unprecedented exigencies. She has also collaborated with the Ministry of Labour and Employment on the labour codes that were notified recently and proposed to be enforced soon.
Shreya has been practicing law since 2018 and has been with JSA since 2019. Before joining JSA, she was working as an in-house product attorney for a Fortune 500 IT Company.
