Pavithra Manivannan, Associate, JSA

Pavithra works in the General Corporate Commercial section. She has advised companies in setting up business operations in India, assists on diligence teams apart from advisory on issues relevant to emerging companies in the healthcare sector. She assists deal execution teams in early stage and venture capital transactions. Her other professional expertise includes participating in basketball tournaments and has also represented the State of Tamil Nadu in several instances.

  • Assisted and advised a Suryoday Small Finance Bank, in receiving equity investment.
  • Advised Sri Kauvery Medical Care (India) Limited and its promoters in an investment received from Lightstone Fund S.A, by way of subscription to securities issued.
  • Assisted and advised Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services Limited (SBFS) and Sundaram Finance Limited (SFL) in (i) the exit of joint venture partner, BNP Paribas Securities Services in SBFS; followed by (ii) the sale of the Registrar and Transfer Agent business of SBFS to Karvy Fintech Private Limited on a slump sale basis.
  • Advised Veritas Finance Private Limited in receiving investment from CDC Group Plc and Lok Capital Growth Fund.
  • Advised Aspire Systems to acquire UAE based Oracle Fusion Cloud specialist iApps and the Oracle business unit of Bengaluru-based Valforma Technology Services.
