Amrita’s practice is primarily in the area of Banking & Finance.

She has advised domestic and international clients in banking & finance related transactions including bilateral and syndicated lending (secured & unsecured), domestic & cross border lending, project financing, acquisition financing and debt restructuring. She has also advised clients on exchange control laws particularly those related to external commercial borrowings, credit enhancement of credit facilities extended to overseas subsidiaries of Indian entities and in-bound investments in listed Indian debt securities.

Before joining JSA, she worked with Advaita Legal for a period of 2 years and advised on legal issues related to Projects and Infrastructure space. She had a brief stint as a Law Researcher in the chambers of Justice Sanjiv Khanna at the Delhi High Court.
